Essentially, where other products may continue spinning after you let up on the button, this model will put the brakes on. This is a big bonus if you tend to over-process, though it is somewhat superfluous if you're careful. An egg whip and citrus press are added, making the additional dollars worth it.

Boasting the name of one of the most respected chefs in the industry, this food processor may take the cake of the three. At only about 180 dollars, it is a great deal. A 900-watt motor beats our other food processors by a long shot, but you should consider whether you need the power. The design delivers power directly to the blade without belts, but this, among other design features, results in a footprint on your countertop considerably larger than the other two. Like the others, it has plenty of attachments for everything from dough mixing to citrus juicing.
